Talking Trees 2012 panelist – Kellie Magnus

Kellie Magnus is the author of some 20 published children’s books and stories, including the popular Little Lion series. She has also contributed five children’s books to the Ministry of Education’s primary school curriculum.

She is the founder and editorial director of Jackmandora, a children’s media company, and regularly reads from her work at literary festivals and bookstore events across Jamaica.

Magnus has served on the board of the Early Childhood Commission and on the executive of the Book Industry Association of Jamaica.

The first Anancy Festival 2011, held at the St Andrew Parish Library in Kingston, was coordinated by Magnus.
