Talking Trees playwright – Keiran King

Keiran King is a theatre critic, actor, graphic designer and playwright.

In 2008 he graduated from the Roy H Parkes School of Communications at Ithaca College, USA, where he studied screenwriting, cinema and photography. His experience in the USA includes development and production internships at companies in Hollywood.

Since 2008 he has appeared on stage in Jamaican productions, Cindy, White Witch; After Dinner and I Take This Man.

A reading from his musical, Last Call, at the Two Seasons Talking Trees Literary Festival on May 28, 2011, will provide a sneak preview of the production due to be released soon. Last Call is set in 1949 at what was then the largest and most prestigious hotel in Jamaica, The Myrtle Bank Hotel, which was located off Harbour Street, downtown Kingston.
