Two Seasons Talking Trees 2019 Reader: Delroy McGregor

Delroy McGregor knew he had a passion for reading from an early age. His love for writing came from his older brother who would tell him comedy skits and Duppy stories from a notebook. He knew then that he was destined to be a writer, and so he wrote whenever the opportunity presented itself. He experiments with various genres as he is of the belief that a writer does not need to be defined by a particular aesthetic. A past student of the William Knibb Memorial High, he is currently pursuing a Bachelors at The U.W.I Mona and currently resides in Kingston.

He is the winner of the National Library of Jamaica Poet Laureate of Jamaica Programme 2019, Eddie Baugh Prize.
