Two Seasons Talking Trees Literary Fiesta 2017 – MUTAMBA Designs

Jacqueline Cohen-Hope

MUTAMBA Designs was borne out of Jacquel Cohen-Hope’s travels as a flight attendant. Her journeys throughout the “Mercados del Artisinias” of Central and South America introduced her to the beautiful weaves of the indigenous people. Jacqueline, also known as Amba, continues to collect soft cotton and silk fabrics. She travels quite frequently to North and West Africa and India in her search for cloth and ethnic accessories.
